The Night Duty Manager (NDM) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the night duty team, and the satisfaction of guests and visitors to the hotel. To assume overall responsibility for coordination and overseeing all hotel operations.

The safety and security of guests and staff within the hotel, as well as the hotel property and premises, are being monitored promptly.

Ø  Supervises the night team to ensure that they are performing their nightly tasks in line with the hotel's health and safety standards.

Ø  Ensures that the hotel security is maximized at night by performing regular hotel checks of fire exits and that all areas of the Hotel are secured.

Ø  Checking and monitoring ongoing events in any function hall ensuring that service is in order and carried out properly.

Ø  Ensure that all F&B outlets are closed down correctly and that cash is banked /reported correctly.

Ø  To manage the production of Room Service in line with food hygiene regulations and company procedures. To ensure the efficient delivery and accuracy of orders.

Ø  To oversee the front desk during the night ensuring we achieve total guest satisfaction.

Ø  Do the override in the front office or any cashier's outlet as needed.

Ø  To welcome guests to the hotel courteously and helpfully.

Ø  To handle any guest complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved and unresolved problems are reported to the Operations Manager / General Manager to complete.

Ø  Ensure all VIP/VVIP guests are highlighted and actioned on.

Ø  Be flexible at all times in assisting other departments within the hotel, as the needs of the business dictate – with the ultimate aim in mind of providing the best possible services to our guests.

Ø  Monitor and adjust (when needed) the settings of air conditioning in the lobby and public areas.

Ø  Monitor and reduce the lights within the vicinity of the hotel.

Ø  Ensuring that housekeeping tasks in public areas and function halls are carried out.

Ø  Act as the Operations Manager during his absence
