Job Summary:

We are looking for a Steward Helper to join the team at The Hay Diner in Baguio City. The Steward Helper will assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, support the culinary team with dishwashing, and ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly handled and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment.
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic preparation and cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and adherence to sanitation standards.
  • Support in organizing and storing kitchen supplies and materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef.

Qualifications:

  • Male or Female, preferably a resident of Baguio City or willing to relocate.
  • Vocational or College Level graduate.
  • With at least 1 year of related experience in kitchen or hotel operations (preferred).
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledgeable in basic kitchen procedures and sanitation standards.
  • Can adapt easily to new tasks and team environment.
  • Experience in pre-opening setup is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Baguio Minimum Rate + Service Charge
