We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to design and execute performance test scripts, conduct system testing, and ensure reliability, scalability, and capacity. The role includes mentoring junior testers, identifying and resolving performance issues early, and collaborating with development teams for optimization. Experience with JMeter or LoadRunner is an advantage.

Work Location: Must be willing to work at both Makati and Ortigas sites

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite

Schedule: Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review performance test requirements and create test scripts
  • Knowledge sharing and training to Junior Performance Testers
  • In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.
  • Identify performance problems and facilitate the tuning of the application solution early in the development life cycle to minimize costs/development time prior to deployment
  • Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
  • Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.
  • Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
  • Experience in Jmeter and LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to test infrastructure and framework
  • Strong communication and team skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn other software.
  • Writing or creating the performance test scripts as per the requirements using HTTP & web services protocols

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Solid background in QA testing, at least a minimum of five (5) years experience in Software Quality Assurance specifically Performance Testing.
  • Proven experience in performance testing and analysis across complex systems.
  • Strong knowledge of tools like Apache JMeter and Micro Focus LoadRunner (or similar).
  • Understanding of performance metrics, server-side monitoring, and test result interpretation.
  • Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web services.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and test strategy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to clearly articulate findings and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quick adaptability to new tools.
