Job Description: Quality Assurance Analyst (Mobile Games & Apps)

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a passion for mobile technology and games? We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team and help us deliver exceptional experiences to our users.

As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for testing Android games and applications to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. You will work closely with our development team to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive test plans for mobile games and applications on the Android platform.
  • Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects with detailed and accurate reports.
  • Create thorough and well-documented Jira tickets, including step-by-step reproduction instructions, screenshots, and video captures (using tools like Loom).
  • Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes.
  • Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and features.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance for mobile applications and/or games.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in quality assurance for mobile applications and/or games.
  • Strong knowledge of the Android operating system.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, usability, performance testing) and QA best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed bug reports and using project management tools like Jira.
  • Experience with test case management tools, API testing tools (Postman), and mobile testing frameworks.
  • Experience with screen capture and video recording tools (e.g., Loom, OBS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
  • Must be legally authorised to work in the Philippines without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Familiarity with different mobile devices and screen resolutions.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
