Duties and Responsibilities

QA Analyst Performance Level 3 (Senior)

  • Proactive in identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
  • Strong knowledge of Performance tools (Jmeter, Load Runner)
  • Creating the performance test plan and performance test strategy
  • Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
  • Define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes.
  • Assess the performance requirements of various components as part of integration
  • Review performance test requirements and create test scripts
  • Knowledge sharing and training to Junior Performance Testers
  • In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.
  • Identify performance problems and facilitate the tuning of the application solution early in the development life cycle to minimize costs/development time prior to deployment
  • Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
  • Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.
  • Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to test infrastructure and framework
  • Strong communication and team skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn other software.
  • Writing or creating the performance test scripts as per the requirements using HTTP & web services protocols

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • With eight (8) years of experience in Performance Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Experienced with performance tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner is a must
  • Practical experience in designing and running performance tests, analyzing performance metrics, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
  • Amenable to work onsite in Ortigas / Makati.
