Automation QA Engineer

Location: within Metro Manila (Makati/ Ortigas/ Alabang)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure product quality and reliability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Tosca, or Playwright, and is comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or API testing.
  • Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects clearly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure full test coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and QA process improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) testing processes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–5 years experience in software testing, with focus on test automation.

  • Practical experience using any of the following automation tools:

  • Selenium

  • Tosca
  • Playwright
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with Test Case Management and Defect Tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Knowledge in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is an advantage
