JOB SUMMARY:

The Cafe Assistant Manager supports the Bodega Manager in overseeing daily operations of Laguna Fresh's retail store and coffee shop. The role focuses on team supervision, customer service, inventory support, and sales execution, ensuring the café and retail sections run smoothly while maintaining brand quality and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day store and café operations, ensuring SOP compliance and smooth workflows.
  • Supervise front-line staff, assign tasks, and assist in training new team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly.
  • Support in tracking sales, inventory, and staff schedules.
  • Ensure product quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and sanitation standards.
  • Implement promotions, upselling, and customer engagement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course; background in Hospitality or Business is an advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail, F&B, or café operations, with supervisory exposure
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge in sales monitoring, inventory, and POS systems
  • Familiar with SOPs, health, and sanitation standards
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays
