Duties and Responsibilities1 Quality System Management

  • Implements, monitors, and maintains the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Assists the Production Head in formulating quality strategies, procedures, and improvement programs.
  • Ensures adherence to ISO, GMP, and safety protocols in all production areas.

2 Quality Control Operations

  • Oversees daily inspection and testing activities from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Ensures that all quality parameters are met before releasing products for shipment.
  • Reviews and approves inspection reports, testing records, and product certifications.

3 Quality Assurance and Process Improvement

  • Coordinates with Production, Maintenance, and R&D to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Conducts root cause analysis and recommends corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, consistency, and process efficiency.

4 Documentation and Reporting

  • Ensures proper maintenance of all QA/QC records, logs, and audit findings.
  • Prepares regular quality performance reports and submits them to the Production Head.
  • Supports both internal and external audits (customer, ISO, regulatory).

5 Leadership and Team Development

  • Supervises and guides QA/QC Inspectors, Analysts, and Technicians in day-to-day operations.
  • Conducts training and coaching to strengthen the team's technical and analytical skills.
  • Promotes a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and teamwork across the production line.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, or any related technical field.
  • With 5–8 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in a packaging, printing, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Familiar with raw material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product testing.
  • Experienced in handling customer complaints, audits, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
  • Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), documentation, and report preparation.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
