JOB SUMMARY:

The Cafe Supervisor is responsible for hands-on supervision of daily café and retail floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and compliance with company standards. This role serves as a working team leader, assisting with operations, training new staff, and supporting sales and customer engagement efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise baristas and retail staff during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Assist in taking customer orders, preparing beverages, and ensuring service quality.
  • Support daily store opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and basic reporting.
  • Ensure product display, cleanliness, and adherence to sanitation standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels on the floor and report low stock to the Assistant Manager.
  • Train and guide new team members on store procedures and customer service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course; Hospitality or Business is a plus
  • 1–2 years' experience in café, restaurant, or retail operations with supervisory exposure
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and sanitation standards
  • Organized, reliable, and willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays
