JOB DESCRIPTION:

The QS Engineer – Civil is responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works. The role ensures proper cost control, budget monitoring, and financial documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The QS Engineer collaborates closely with project engineers, site personnel, and procurement to support effective project execution and ensure compliance with engineering and cost standards.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
  • At least 1 year of experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering for civil works.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and quantity take-off tools such as AutoCAD, Planswift, or Bluebeam.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost control procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to visit project sites as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
