About the role

EEI Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing contracts, budgets, and cost control for our construction projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a leading construction company and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  2. Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring they stay within the agreed budget
  3. Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  4. Provide regular cost reports and financial updates to project managers and senior leadership
  5. Identify and mitigate potential cost risks, suggesting strategies to optimise project profitability
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and company policies

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in BS Civil Engineering,Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  3. Proven track record in managing construction budgets, contracts, and cost control
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  6. Proficient in using construction-specific software and tools (e.g., estimating, project management)
  7. Knowledge of construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices
