About the Role:

We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager who will lead initiatives to build a positive work environment, foster strong employer-employee relationships, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role will manage employee relations programs, oversee discipline and engagement, and serve as the company's representative in labor-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement employee and labor relations programs that promote harmony and productivity.
  • Oversee employee wellness and engagement activities (wellness programs, team events, CSR activities, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and labor-related cases.
  • Partner with management and unions during negotiations, grievance handling, and CBA implementation.
  • Lead committees on critical employment issues (e.g., harassment, safety, legal cases).
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance and smooth resolution of ER concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Business, Law, Psychology, or related field (Post-graduate studies a plus).
  • At least 3 years of experience in employee relations or labor relations, with supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of labor standards, disciplinary procedures, and collective bargaining.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Certification in labor law (WILL or similar) is an advantage.
