Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Vision
· Develop and execute the strategy for research and publication, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall mission and long-term objectives.
· Identify emerging research trends and create opportunities for impactful studies that address current industry challenges.
· Collaborate with the executive team to ensure the integration of research as a key component in advancing the organization's knowledge base and thought leadership.
· Establish long-term goals and measurable objectives for research projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue generation.
- Research Program Development
· Oversee the design, planning, and execution of comprehensive research programs, ensuring relevance and alignment with organizational priorities.
· Lead and manage a team of researchers, providing guidance and support throughout the research process, from ideation to publication.
· Foster a culture of innovation and scholarly rigor, encouraging original thinking and the application of diverse research methodologies.
- Publication Strategy and Management
· Develop and manage a publication strategy to disseminate research findings through reputable academic and professional platforms.
· Guide the preparation and submission of research papers, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, clarity, and academic rigor.
· Collaborate with editorial teams and external publishers to drive the timely release of research articles, reports, and studies that enhance the organization's credibility.
- Stakeholder and Client Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, industry experts, and key stakeholders to promote the organization's research initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, academic forums, and research symposiums to showcase findings and expand networks.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing research and publication team, fostering collaboration and a results-oriented culture.
- Provide professional development opportunities to staff, ensuring their continuous growth in research methodologies and publication processes.
- Support and empower team members to pursue innovative ideas and overcome challenges in the research and publication lifecycle.
- Financial Management and Resource Allocation
· Monitor the financial performance of research projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet organizational goals.
· Seek external funding, including research grants and sponsorships, to support high-priority research initiatives.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
· Establish and maintain high standards for research quality, ensuring all research outputs are rigorous, accurate, and of the highest academic standard.
· Implement feedback loops to assess the impact of published research and refine strategies for future projects.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing research methods, processes, and outcomes to enhance quality and relevance.
Skills Required:
o Technical Skills: Advanced research design and methodologies, Academic publishing processes and standards, Data analysis and interpretation techniques, Knowledge of research compliance and ethical guidelines and Familiarity with research software and tools
o Soft Skills: Leadership and team management, Communication (both written and verbal), Relationship-building and collaboration, Strategic thinking and decision-making, Problem-solving and creative thinking and Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
o Competencies: Visionary leadership in research, Academic and professional writing expertise, Team development and mentorship and Stakeholder engagement and management
Experience Needed:
o Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience in research, publication, or a related field, with a strong background in managing high-impact research projects and publication efforts.
o Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role overseeing research initiatives and publication strategies.
o Specific Achievements: Proven track record of successful publication in peer-reviewed journals or other reputable platforms, Experience in managing and growing research teams, driving impactful studies, and disseminating findings at industry or academic events.
Educational Background:
- Degrees: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Research, Social Sciences, Education, or a related discipline
- Certification: Certified Professional Education (CPE); Professional Certificate in Research Process and Methods or a related field is required in lieu of master's degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php65, Php80,000.00 per month
