We are looking for a Business Development Analyst to join FMC, a company focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives and other government-related projects. This role is crucial in identifying growth opportunities, conducting strategic business research, and supporting the development and execution of proposals for government agencies.

What You'll Do

As our Business Development Analyst, you'll play a vital role in expanding our market presence and sharpening our strategic direction. Your work will directly impact how we grow, innovate, and deliver value.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, policy shifts, and competitive opportunities.
  • Analyze business performance and financial data, create reports and dashboards to guide strategic decisions.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential revenue streams, particularly in the public sector.
  • Prepare business proposals and project presentations, together with the Strategic Growth Officer, tailored for submission to government agencies and public institutions.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support business cases and investment decisions for growth initiatives.
  • Represent FMC at events, client meetings, and conferences.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives to support leadership and innovation.

Who We're Looking For

You're not just a data person — you're a strategic thinker who understands how to turn business insights into action.

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. (IE preferred – familiarity with business processes is a plus)
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, marketing analysis.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and how companies operate and grow.
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to make sense of complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • A collaborative team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events or client engagements
