About the role

As an HR Employee and Labor Relations Specialist at Select Goods', you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's workforce is well-supported, engaged, and aligned with the organisation's objectives. Based in our Taguig City Metro Manila office, this full-time position will see you managing a variety of employee relations and compliance matters, while also developing strategies to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on matters related to company policies, benefits, and HR procedures
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and impartial manner
  • Collaborate with managers to develop and implement effective employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Assist in the development and review of HR policies, procedures, and programmes
  • Participate in collective bargaining discussions and negotiations with labour unions
  • Provide training and guidance to managers on best practices in employee relations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in employee/industrial relations or human resources
  • Thorough understanding of labour laws, collective bargaining agreements, and employment regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve conflicts
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address complex employee relations issues
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and HR information systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
