We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong sense of integrity, capable of working independently while maintaining consistent communication with the team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our sales funnels and email marketing campaigns to promote and sell courses from ThriveCart. The position requires a few check-in meetings per week to review progress and results. This role requires a proactive and creative individual who is passionate about leveraging digital tools to drive business growth and deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, honest, and comfortable managing their own workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Email Marketing & Sales Funnels: Design and execute three distinct email campaigns using Kit to drive sales of our online courses. The candidate must have a proven track record of creating persuasive and effective email sequences and managing end-to-end sales funnels.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy for Facebook and Instagram. This includes scheduling monthly posts, curating engaging content, and identifying opportunities to repurpose high-performing content. Experience with the social media management tool Blaze is a plus.
  • Paid Advertising: Manage and optimize Facebook advertising campaigns, with a strong emphasis on A/B testing to maximize ROI and lead generation.
  • Content Creation & Editing: Edit and produce compelling marketing videos using Descript for use across various platforms, including social media and email campaigns.
  • Website Management: Collaborate on website updates to ensure our Squarespace site aligns with current marketing campaigns and product offerings, providing a seamless customer journey from ad to purchase. Experience with ThriveCart or other online course platforms is highly desirable.
  • Develop a lead magnet to attract prospective students to the Squarespace website
  • Create and manage Facebook content and paid advertising campaigns
  • Use Blaze to schedule and maintain consistent posting
  • Write and send marketing emails (including promotional campaigns and newsletters)
  • Integrate and manage Calendly for booking appointments
  • Collaborate directly with the client to establish marketing processes during the first month and maintain them thereafter
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and managing successful sales funnels.
  • Proficiency in using Facebook campaign tools, including A/B testing.
  • Extensive experience with social media management, specifically on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Strong skills in video editing for marketing purposes, with a preference for experience using Descript.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to write persuasive and compelling email campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the following software: Kit (or similar email marketing platforms), Descript, Facebook Business Manager, and Squarespace.
  • Experience with ThriveCart or other online course platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and email marketing copywriting
  • Social media management skills (Facebook ads experience required)
  • Familiarity with Squarespace and lead generation strategies
  • Strong written English skills for email and ad copy
  • Comfortable with PST working hours, including late evening overlap
  • Ability to work independently and help structure marketing processes

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of course marketing strategies for tutors/educators
  • Experience with Blaze or similar scheduling tools
  • Basic design skills for ads and lead magnets
