Auro Chocolate is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Officer to ensure the highest quality standards in our chocolate production process. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures, including ISO 22000 and HACCP.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve product specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues and complaints.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to identify and rectify any quality deviations.
  • Perform sensory evaluations to assess the taste, aroma, texture, and appearance of chocolate products.
  • Monitor and record key quality parameters such as temperature, humidity, and weight.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Conduct laboratory tests on raw materials and finished products to assess parameters such as moisture content, fat content, and microbial load.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Food Safety:
  • Adhere to strict food safety practices, including proper hygiene, sanitation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
  • Participate in food safety training and certifications.
  • Monitor and control potential food safety hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
