URGENT HIRING - QA/QC ENGINEER

Location: Quezon City

I. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Passed the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) licensure exam for civil engineering to secure a license and be able to practice the profession.

  • Proven working experience in civil engineering.

  • Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA) in civil works.

  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.

  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Project management and supervision skills is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to details.

  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.

  • Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the QA/QC Head in implementing the Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan for all civil works.

  • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and others).

  • Perform regular inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.

  • Identify and address any safety and construction issues that may arise.

  • Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related Issues.

  • Ensure building materials are tested for stability and safety.

  • Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.

  • Ensure designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

  • Other duties that may be assigned and deemed necessary in the course of the company's business
