Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Accounting Assistant I supports the accounting department by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. The primary role of the Accounting Assistant I is in the area of accounts receivable, accounts payable and other general accounting functions. Their duties include recording and processing of business transactions, preparing reports, collaborating in the preparation of departmental budgets, building communications with clients and vendors, data verification, filing and maintaining confidentiality of financial data and records.
- Assists in month-end and annual reporting procedures
- Records daily sales transactions to system
- Prepares billing to internal and external customers
- Maintains customers' accounts and records
- Follows-up collect and allocate payments
- Initiates collection effort
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Accounting or Business Administration related course
- With experience working with an automated financial management system
- With thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable, receivable, general ledger systems, procedures and financial chart of accounts to be used
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php15, Php16,000.00 per month
