About the role

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team in our Paranaque City, Metro Manila office. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and expense reports
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers
  • Reconcile bank statements and perform other account reconciliation tasks
  • Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting assistant role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
