About the role

As a Systems Data Analyst at Tom's Koi Pet Supplies, you will play a crucial role in encoding the data systems that support our pet supplies business. This full-time position is located in Osmena Extension, Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, and will see you work closely with our Operations Manager to ensure our data is delivering valuable insights and driving business growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Encoding data from purchase orders or invoices
  • Implementing reporting tools to provide actionable business intelligence
  • Collaborating with the store team
  • Optimising existing data systems and processes to enhance efficiency and data quality
  • Identifying and addressing data-related issues, and implementing measures to prevent them from recurring

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a systems data analyst or a similar data-driven role, preferably in the retail, warehousing or consumer goods sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, and data visualisation software
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly terms
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • A Senior High School diploma or vocational or tertiary units
