IT Associate

We are looking for an IT Associate to join our team at Guevent Investments Development Corporation. This role provides support to the Infrastructure Support Engineer and plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's systems and applications. The IT Associate will work closely with end-users, document process requirements, and participate in system analysis and implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Excellence

  • Assist business units in reviewing current business operations and workflows.
  • Create process-related documentation using standard tools such as flowcharts.
  • Communicate updates on process-related changes, policies, and procedures.
  • Gain a strong understanding of processes within QuickBooks and Acumatica applications.

2. Project Support & Implementation

  • Support the implementation of QuickBooks and Acumatica across business units (excluding transport).
  • Customize reports within systems to meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate with departments to gather process and personnel information.
  • Present findings to the team to design feasible projects aligned with requirements and budgets.

3. Project Participation

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues that may affect timelines.
  • Participate in testing activities as required throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Documentation & Training

  • Maintain documentation for all project phases and ensure timely circulation of necessary reports.
  • Prepare user guides and training manuals.
  • Conduct training sessions on commonly used applications and systems.

5. IT Application Support

  • Assist the Information Systems Manager in gathering data for systems integration.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient integration.

6. Administration & Reporting

  • Provide immediate solutions to urgent technical problems.
  • Prepare and present weekly team meeting reports.
  • Submit MIS reports on time.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Communication Technology, or any related field.

Experience/Training:

  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in network maintenance and administration (open to fresh graduates with strong potential).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in computer networking.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Linux servers and Active Directory.
  • Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Strong project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills (RCA).
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
