Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Automation Engineer
with expertise in
Katalon Studio
to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications through robust testing frameworks. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly within enterprise or financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    automated test scripts
    using
    Katalon Studio
    for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure
    end-to-end test coverage
    by integrating automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Conduct
    functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
    as required.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to drive resolutions.
  • Maintain and enhance the automation framework for scalability and reusability.
  • Provide documentation, reporting, and insights on test results and quality metrics.
  • Stay updated with the latest automation testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum
    2 to
    3 years of hands-on experience
    in automation testing with
    Katalon Studio
    .
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
  • Background in
    financial services, banking, or enterprise-level systems
    (preferred).

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in
    Katalon Studio
    (web, API, and mobile automation).
  • Strong familiarity with programming/scripting with
    Java or Groovy or other related tool
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    software testing methodologies
    , SDLC, and STLC.
  • strong familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of
    SQL
    for database validation and backend testing.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering quality software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
