Job Overview:

Are you a Japanese language expert with a passion for customer service and professional communication? We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Japanese Bilingual Associate to join our growing team

In this role, you will handle email and chat inquiries from customers in both Japanese and English. You'll be the front line in providing seamless and satisfying customer experiences—no voice calls involved. What You'll Do:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and chat in both Japanese and English.
  • Craft clear, concise, and professional business email responses that reflect the company's tone and brand.
  • Document all interactions accurately in internal systems and follow established support workflows.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns while meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient support experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest product information, company processes, and policy changes.
  • Meet and maintain individual and team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

Language Proficiency:

  • JLPT N1 or N2 Certification

    OR
  • Native Japanese speaker with a valid permanent visa in the Philippines (e.g., 13A Visa)

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in non-voice (email/chat) or voice customer support.
  • Background in a BPO or customer service setting is a strongly advantage.
  • Experience composing business correspondence is highly preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Strong command of professional, business-level writing—especially email communication.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work on-site in Shaw, Mandaluyong.
  • Amenable to rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A team player with a customer-first mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
