Full job description
As a Dealer Development Executive / Manager, you will play an essential role in building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with our network of dealers. Primary focus will be on driving business growth through effective dealer engagement and support strategies.
The key responsibilities will be:
- Focuses on enhancing dealer performance and ensuring alignment with the company's strategy.
- Identifying and onboarding new dealers to expand the network based on market analysis and brand strategy which involves assessing demographics, competition and market potential.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns that will enhance sales and increase brand awareness.
- Evaluate and recommend prospective dealerships, and negotiating contracts and agreements with the new ones.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with new dealerships.
- Ensure that dealers comply with all the legal and regulatory requirements, brands policies and standards related to sales, service and operations.
- Provide dealers with training and resources to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Offer ongoing support to help dealers achieve their sales goals and resolve any issues. Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze and monitor dealer performance metrics and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Understanding market trends and competitive landscape to inform dealer strategy.
- Directly report to Management.
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in sales, marketing, or dealer development, specifically within the automotive industry
- A strong understanding of market dynamics, dealer networks, and competitive landscape.
- Proven track record in sales and negotiation, with the ability to drive business growth through dealer partnerships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentations and relationship management.
- Ability to analyze market data and dealer performance to develop strategies.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster partnerships with dealers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with dealers and attend industry events.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
