  • Responsible for selling chemicals and related services to businesses and individuals.
  • Deep understanding of chemistry and the chemical industry to explain product features and benefits accurately.
  • Must have a good understanding of the products and services they are selling, as well as the industry.
  • Identifying and acquiring new customers through direct sales techniques, business directories, and referrals.
  • Educating potential and existing clients about the features and benefits of the company's chemical products and services.
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and solutions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Physical stamina and willingness to travel to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and perform other sales-related duties.

Experience and skills:

  • Experience as a Sales Representative in the chemical industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of chemical products and industry needs.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
