JVK Pacific is seeking a suitably experienced individual to manage our newly established Manila branch office, which provides quality international moving services to a variety of expatriate and diplomatic customers.
Job Description
As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality international moving services. Your duties will include managing and developing a team of skilled professionals, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, supervise, and motivate branch staff to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
· Establish the company's operational capabilities in Manila
· Undertake pre-move surveys, prepare quotations and demonstrate the ability to secure work.
· Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and expand the client base, particularly among expatriate and diplomatic customers.
· Ensure compliance with international and local regulations regarding moving and shipping services.
· Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation, expense control, and reporting.
· Monitor and manage all aspects of logistics, including scheduling, shipment tracking, and coordination with overseas branches.
· Maintain and improve quality standards, ensuring that every move is handled efficiently, safely, and to the highest professional standards.
· Respond quickly and effectively to client inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous professional development among staff.
· Represent the branch at industry events, networking opportunities, and meetings with key clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
· Proven management experience in the international moving and relocation industry.
· Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building effective teams.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in written and spoken English.
· Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
· Must have excellent attention to detail skills and a good memory.
· Sales and marketing experience within the Manila market.
· Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex operational challenges.
· Knowledge of local and international customs regulations and compliance requirements.
· A customer-centric mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
· Must have a current driving licence and valid passport.
