CHP Management has partnered with Clarke Point, a Singapore-based recruitment firm that connects Australian businesses with highly skilled Independent Contractors based in the Philippines. This role is a remote opportunity, supporting the Australian finance team in delivering accurate, efficient, and timely financial management across CHP's property portfolio.

About the Role

This role will support the financial operations of CHP Management's property portfolio, focusing on end-to-end accounting responsibilities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and support for audit and compliance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the onshore finance team, strata managers, and other stakeholders to maintain accuracy, transparency, and financial integrity within the company's managed properties.

This role is being recruited by Clarke Point, a premier Singapore-based agency dedicated to delivering global recruitment and staffing solutions, ) and is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse monthly & quarterly financial and retail performance reports
  • Manage net income, budgeting, outgoings reconciliation, and turnover rent calculations
  • Ensure compliance with lease agreements and property financial regulations
  • Collaborate with property managers & facilities coordinators for financial reporting
  • Oversee tenant outgoings recovery, ensuring accurate lease-based calculations
  • Prepare monthly accruals, year-end reports, and financial close-offs
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial systems (Yardi)
Mandatory Criteria
  • Experience working as an Independent Contractor for an Australian, American or similar client
  • 3+ years of experience in property or management accounting
  • Prior experience with Yardi software
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting and budgeting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
  • Experience in Australian commercial real estate accounting
  • Experience working as an Independent Contractor for an Australian, American or similar client

  • Background in retail property accounting
  • Familiarity with Australian lease laws and property financial regulations

Compensation Package

This role is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor with the following additional perks:

  • Philippine Regular Holidays: 100% pay if not worked; 200% pay if worked.
  • Philippine Special Non-Working Holidays: Additional 30% pay if worked.
  • Vacation Leave: 12 days per year, granted upon successful completion of the probation period.
  • Sick Leave: 6 days per year, available annually.
  • Health Insurance Allowance: ₱2,500 per month provided toward family health insurance after the probation period.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Fully remote, Monday to Friday, aligned with Australian business hours.

CHP Management is based in Hawthorn, Australia, thus the work hours will follow Hawthorn time (GMT +10) with some flexibility.
