DLB BATAAN WATER CORP.' is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Makati City Metro Manila. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, budgeting, and contract management. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Analyse contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify and quantify project requirements
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor project costs and expenditures, providing regular reports and recommendations to the management team
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met within budget
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in using cost estimation and project management software
  • Understanding of construction industry regulations and compliance requirements
