Staff Accountant (US Healthcare)

Reports to: Division Controller

Full-Time (40 hours/Week). Hours will overlap with Las Vegas office hours.

Employment Type: Multi-year Contract (no contract end date / auto renewal)

Pay: PHP 50k per month / PHP 289/hour

Job purpose:

This is an opportunity to join Preferred Health Management. This position will perform daily accounting reviews including payroll processing, and general ledger posting. Reporting to the Division Controller, this position will work cross-functionally with the broader accounting organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping using Oracle NetSuite
  • Preparing and processing monthly reimbursement for physicians (heavily Excel based)
  • Preparing monthly ACH for providers
  • Investigating and resolving providers inquiries and disputes, as well as work with scheduling and operations department to troubleshoot and resolve provider reimbursement discrepancies
  • Perform account reconciliation, propose resolutions of discrepancies
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year- end closing processes.
  • Annual 1099 reports
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA is a Plus
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite
  • Need a fast internet connection (subsidy will be provided)
  • Must have a phone. Telephone app/account will be provided.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of strong accounting background with both accrual and cash basis reporting.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of strong reporting background with an ability to consolidate multiple entities and propose intercompany elimination entries.
  • Ability to independently research accounting & reporting issues and propose solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, multitask, deliver high quality results within established timeframes.
  • Ability to always maintain a client service attitude.
