A KNC Group of Companies is looking for a Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant. This involves managing staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and service, and handling customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:
  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and dishwashers.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities based on staff skills and restaurant needs.
  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for busy times.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and training when needed.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure that customers receive excellent service at all times.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and adjust operations to improve service.
  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
  • Oversee food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the restaurant industry (usually 3-5 years in management roles).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and basic financial tools.
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
