A KNC Group of Companies is looking for a Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant. This involves managing staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and service, and handling customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Management:

  2. Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and dishwashers.

  3. Assign roles and responsibilities based on staff skills and restaurant needs.
  4. Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for busy times.
  5. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and training when needed.
  6. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

  7. Customer Service:

  8. Ensure that customers receive excellent service at all times.

  9. Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Monitor customer satisfaction and adjust operations to improve service.

  11. Operational Efficiency:

  12. Ensure the restaurant is compliant with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards.

  13. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
  14. Oversee food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  15. Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness and organization.
  16. Manage opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the restaurant industry (usually 3-5 years in management roles).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and basic financial tools.
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
