Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations within the private utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical product sales, a deep understanding of the Philippine energy and utilities market, and a proven track record of developing strategic relationships and meeting revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies for electrical products targeted at private utilities, cooperatives, and commercial energy clients.
Set sales targets and ensure consistent achievement of revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the utilities sector (e.g., private electric cooperatives, power distribution companies, EPC contractors).
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and technical consultations.
Team Leadership
Manage and coach a team of sales engineers and representatives.
Oversee performance metrics and provide regular training to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
Provide input on pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with the technical, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and solutions.
Support project bidding and proposal development, including technical documentation and costing.
Reporting
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in electrical products or power systems.
- Strong knowledge of the Philippine power sector and utilities landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience managing sales teams or field engineers.
- Familiarity with electrical products such as transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, metering systems, or energy monitoring tools is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for client visits.
- Preferably has a background in working with electric cooperatives, private utilities, or IPPs (Independent Power Producers).
- Experience in technical sales or solutions-based selling.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as ERC, DOE, or NEA policies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to Php100,000.00 per month
