Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Management, Communication, Design, Cultural Studies, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in program coordination, exhibition management, events production, or arts/culture project administration
  • Background or deep interest in creative industries, tech, or design ecosystems
  • Experience working in an educational or cultural institution
  • Familiarity with installation requirements, spatial planning, or fabrication
  • Passion for community engagement and cultural programming
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in working with multidisciplinary teams and balancing academic and public programming
  • Familiarity with project budgeting and basic procurement processes; grant-writing or sponsorship experience

Responsibilities:

Program Development & Management

  • Collaboratively plan and maintain a year-round calendar of exhibitions, performances, and activations across Glitch Tower's designated venues.
  • Coordinate exhibition and event lifecycles—from conceptualization to setup and takedown
  • Ensure alignment with CIIT's academic calendar, operations, initiatives, and institutional priorities
  • Maintain clear protocols for project intake, review, approval, and documentation

Logistics & Operations

  • Oversee space preparation and turnaround, including fabrication, installation, technical set-up, and site safety
  • Manage coordination of couriers, suppliers, and third-party contractors for transport, hauling, and staging
  • Ensure insurance (when necessary), risk, and compliance requirements are met for all public-facing activities
  • Monitor material and infrastructure needs across spaces (lighting, electricals, signage, mounts, etc.)

Partnerships & Community Engagement

  • Liaise with CIIT departments, faculty, and student organizations to co-develop internal programming
  • Build and sustain relationships with external collaborators—industry partners, guest creatives, institutions through the oversight of Management, Program Heads and/or Project Leads
  • Design participation models such as open calls, residencies, collaborative showcases, and community features
  • Conduct guided tours and oversee the training of student volunteers or invigilators in guest engagement and gallery protocols

Budget & Resource Oversight

  • Prepare and manage project budgets; oversee allocation of institutional and external funds in collaboration with Manager
  • Identify opportunities for sponsorship, grant-writing, and in-kind partnerships
  • Track spending and ensure financial accountability for each calendared program

Evaluation & Reporting

  • Implement monitoring tools to assess audience reach, participant feedback, and programming impact
  • Generate post-event reports, photo/video documentation, and program briefs for institutional records and stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic planning, sustainability assessments, and funding proposals
