Detailed Responsibility General Store Operation Perform general day-to-day operations of store Ensure showroom and storage area is orderly, well lit, well ventilated, clean, and provides positive ambience to customers and personnel alike - e.g all lights are working, store smells good, nothing is dusty Ensure that merchandise items are properly displayed according to approved guidelines Ensure that merchandise in storage room are stored in an organized manner Prepare cleaning schedules for merchandise and store and coordinate with office admin Ensure all appliances like airconditioning store equipment, machines, and tools are functioning properly and are properly maintained and prepare and faciilate cleaning / maintenance schedules with office admin Supervise cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies Ensure all orders are paid and are served to customers according to agreed lead time Ensure all types of transactions are accounted for:
a. Orders for customer delivery - paid, payment validated, delivered as per agreed lead time
b. Product exchange - properly documented and reported; if for upgrade ensure that payment verification has been made
c. Product return - properly documented and reported Process application of mall gatepass Implement and maintain approved store display plan/ planogram Prepare store sales report, inventory report, and other store related reports Recommend improvement of store processes Report irregularities to Management - whether on the store processes, staff performance, mall procedures, customer complaints, and others In-charge of requesting office supplies/ consumables and other store essential supplies. Secuirty Control and Safety Ensure that all necessary controls are followed for POS transactions, payments, invoices, logbooks, inventory records, sales records, and important store documents Store Staff Efficiency and Customer Service Ensure store staff competence on sales performance and customer satisfaction by providing necessary training and coaching Monitor store staff attendance Manage store store staff work schedule, including Holiday schedule Training of new staff Plans and implements store merchandising, layout and customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image and ergonomics for customers. Supervise all sales and marketing activities in the store Supervises and maintains effectiveness of Information Technology and other essential in-store systems Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards Inventory Management Responsible of item inventory on-time replenishment Ensure that all controls related to store inventory (item, supplies, equipment, machines, etc.)are working properly and are followed Conduct periodic inventory audit, and unannounced inventory audit of store's item inventory, supplies, equipment, and other assets Supervises all stock movement activities (in/out, transfer, sales etc.)
