Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the AP Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our AP processes. You will assist in procurement intake, vendor bill matching, and support SOX compliance efforts, collaborating team. Your work will drive process improvements and streamline the financial close process. This is a key role for a detail-oriented individual ready to make a significant impact on the company's operational success.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Facilitate procurement intake and accurately process vendor bills to ensure smooth Accounts Payable operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish and uphold SOX compliance controls.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the financial close cycle.
  • Contribute to special projects and support various accounting functions as needed.
  • Accurately process vendor invoices and match them to purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policy.
  • Review and approve expense reports based on company policy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and system implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in the financial close process and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong background in Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Ability to match transactions accurately.
  • Quick learner with strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data entry.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and effective communication skills.
