Position: Data Analyst Sales Assistant (with Netsuite exp)

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst Sales Assistant to support our Sales and FP&A teams in making data-driven decisions. This role is ideal for someone with experience ensuring CRM data integrity, building insightful sales dashboards, and analyzing key pipeline metrics such as conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and lifetime value (LTV).

The successful candidate will be skilled in Excel and data visualization tools, with experience in territory reporting, win/loss analysis, budget tracking, and turning complex datasets into actionable insights. Strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Daily

  • Maintain data accuracy across CRM and related systems; proactively monitor margins and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Track pipeline performance (leads, conversion rates, AOV, LTV) to ensure real-time visibility.
  • Provide inventory insights, including back-in-stock updates and out-of-stock alerts.
  • Update and manage sales dashboards with current trends and projections.

Weekly

  • Assign inbound leads to sales reps via NetSuite.
  • Upload welcome gift data (NEO/ANA).
  • Correlate weekly sales activities (calls, demos, meetings) with outcomes.
  • Prepare and present weekly data summaries for team strategy sessions.
  • Track incentives, evaluate success, and propose improvements.
  • Define weekly targets for lapsed, new proprietary, and new customers by rep and state.
  • Prepare weekly slide decks (WAL/Distribution/Body Jewelry).

Monthly

  • Conduct win/loss analysis to identify training and improvement opportunities.
  • Upload "We Miss You" gifts (NEO/ANA/TIL).
  • Deliver territory performance reports to support targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Track budgets, analyze sales vs. spending, and conduct ROI and cost analyses.
  • Perform customer profiling and segmentation (80/20 analysis, purchasing habits, churn risk).
  • Monitor margins by rep, territory, and product line.
  • Summarize monthly team performance by category and opportunity.

Quarterly

  • Lead trend analysis on performance by rep, region, brand, and product.
  • Refresh customer segmentation strategies to align with high-value segments.
  • Calculate commissions.

Ad-Hoc

  • Deliver timely, data-driven insights in response to strategic requests.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a sales support, data analysis, or similar role
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in sales operations, data tracking, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of sales metrics (AOV, LTV, win/loss, margin)
  • Skilled in creating dashboards and performance reports
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communicator and strong collaborator
