YOUR ROLE
To have a more strategic role and deal with planning, administering, controlling and general management. Maintain efficient warehouse & distribution operation, which include the day-to-day management of staff & resources to ensure efficiency, productivity & customer's satisfactions, are met within the required standard.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Establish rules and regulations in accordance with legal provision of law, Code of Employee's Discipline and other related Company policies; ensure that they are observed and complied by all employees and implementation thereof are carried out fairly and consistently to all concerned without exception.
- Responsible of planning, organizing and controlling all aspects of the Storage and Distribution process.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational policies and procedures.
- Review current procedures and establish simple, clear and written SOP and operational procedures that must be followed by all concerned at all level of operations
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for all levels of operations (receiving, storing and dispatching) against which the entire operations are to be evaluated and measured internally and by the customers.
- Establish systems of accountability wherein all requirements (reports, documentations, communications, etc.) of customers are fully accounted for, fully understood and completely complied with by all concerned, promptly and on time.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Consistently check that all services performed are correctly billed and submitted to all clients promptly and on time.
- Set up inventory cycle count schedule and make sure this is strictly implemented. Ensure that result of cycle count should be reconciled with the system/books, within 2 working days after the physical cycle count.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Accommodate, Coordinate and work with BD team in sales & marketing by providing all logistics information pertaining to warehouse rents, capacity, volume, rates of services and ensure that data are available, current and updated.
- Perform periodic performance evaluation of staff, subcontractors and other agents and recommend appropriate actions based on such evaluation.
- In charge in implementation of all new projects & programs i.e. 5S, Kaizen, LEAN, GSM, HSSE awareness within the department.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Graduate of any 4 years course
- Qualification in distribution, logistics, transportation, management, or retail management.
- Knowledge on Warehouse, Inventory & Distribution management.
- With ability on strategic planning & lay outing of warehouse
- Develop and maintain good customer's relationship by regularly providing updates and reports.
- Can handle large scale of people
- Can understand & analyze financial statement and evaluate Department's performance against stated target.
- At least 5 years' experience:
a. Knowledgeable in WMS application or any other system applicable for warehouse & distribution operation i.e. JDE, Oracle system, Matrix TMS, SAP.
b. With self-management skills, equipment operation, the knowledge & understanding of the overall supply chain i.e. Principles of warehouse & distribution organization, operations, safety and security.
c. Knowledge on implementation of methods and systems for improving operational efficiency such as LEAN principles, 5S, Kaizen, one piece flow, and work load levelling (hijunka).
d. In-depth knowledge on billing and admin work related.
e. Knowledge on Technique in People Handling skills
f. Knowledge on ISO standards (9001 & 14001), and Statistical Tools & Techniques

- Can work harmoniously and communicate with interface department through writing and speaking.
