Role Summary

About the Role:

The Assistant Operations Manager supports the day-to-day operations of multiple client sites, ensuring efficient food service delivery, compliance with food safety standards, and smooth coordination between frontline teams and central operations. This role acts as the immediate supervisor to a team of Food Service Assistants (FSAs), serves as a key liaison between site and head office, and provides logistical and administrative support to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned client sites, ensuring quality and timely service delivery.
  • Supervise, guide, and support the Food Service Assistants under her care.
  • Coordinate with the Central Processing Unit (CPU), clients, and onsite teams for food distribution, inventory, and operational needs.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained across all locations.
  • Address and resolve client and site-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and operational assessments.
  • Support company-wide and client operational issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reports submission.
  • Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new FSAs under her team.
  • Monitor consumables, supplies, and equipment condition at client sites and report necessary replacements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and sites efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards (training will be provided if needed)
  • Comfortable working in both office and onsite settings
  • Experience in food service, hospitality, or operations is an advantage
  • Willing to be hands-on and flexible with scheduling needs
