Position Summary:

The Director or AVP for Business Development for the FJE Group plays a strategic leadership role in driving revenue growth and expanding the organization's footprint across the media, real estate, and hospitality sectors. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, overseeing key client relationships, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and profitability of emerging ventures. The position will work closely with executive management and operational teams to align business strategies with market demands and company objectives.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or other related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, strategy, or sales, preferably with exposure to the following industries: media/broadcasting, real estate development and hospitality.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successful project development, deal-making, and partnership management.
  • Experience in property acquisition, commercial leasing, media ad sales, sponsorships, or hotel development/operations is a strong advantage.
  • Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management and analytical abilities.
  • Clear and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work across diverse sectors and stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy and updated with trends in digital media, real estate innovations, and hospitality market shifts.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • A strong network of contacts in at least one of the target industries is a distinct advantage.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the company's values and culture.
