Position Overview

The Sales Engineer I-National delivers pre-sales technical and operational support for Cisco and Meraki products, partnering closely with Insight Account Executives. This role responds to client inquiries, recommends solutions based on client specifications, and creates Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Partner tools. Additionally, the Sales Engineer I-National assists with deal registrations to Cisco and ensures timely communication of registration status to Account Executives, supporting successful sales outcomes.

What you'll do at Insight:

  • Create estimates for Cisco and Meraki products using the Cisco CCW tool.

  • Gather required details for partner Deal Registration and submit in partner tools.

  • Communicate directly with Cisco & Insight stakeholders.

  • Recommend Cisco products based on client specifications.

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineer II and III roles for additional support where applicable.

  • Respond to technical inquiries via ticketing system and email, providing accurate and timely answers.

  • Maintain and acquire relevant product certifications, and consistently update knowledge of products to ensure expertise in current technologies and solutions

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to join Insight

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field, from four-year College or University

  • At least 1 years of experience in Networking and IT- related solutions and other related experience.

  • Able to thrive in an environment characterized by rapidly changing requirements and an ongoing focus on meeting operational objectives

  • Strong written and verbal English communications skills

  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Strong commitment to company values and operating principles
