Role Summary

The Quality Engineer I plays a key role in ensuring that software products meet the company's quality standards across all phases of development. The role supports the definition, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, policies, documentation, data, and customer-specific requirements, contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-quality solutions.

What You'll Do

• Test Planning

• Estimate and define test strategies based on requirement complexity.

• Prioritize and schedule test activities according to business impact.

• Test Case Development

• Develop detailed, well-structured test cases aligned with requirements and processes.

• Design test cases that can be translated into automated scripts.

• Test Execution & Monitoring

• Execute both manual and automated test scripts.

• Analyze, document, and report test results.
• Track and monitor ticket status and issue resolution.

• Test Innovation

• Develop tools and solutions to enhance testing efficiency.

• Process Improvement

• Recommend enhancements to business process flows.

• Suggest improvements to quality engineering and testing practices.

• Scrum Participation

• Actively attend and contribute to Scrum ceremonies.

What You'll Need

• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Quality Engineering methodologies, concepts, and best practices.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (G Suite) applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or database testing.
