Position Objective:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of internal and external projects. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proven project management expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client and business objectives. The Project Manager will oversee project teams, manage client relationships, and apply industry-standard project management practices to drive organizational success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead project execution, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
Team Leadership and Coordination
- Manage and guide cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching to ensure project success.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and effective communication.
Stakeholder and Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by ensuring expectations are managed and delivered.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate critical challenges to management when necessary.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track project performance using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
- Provide detailed reports on progress, resource utilization, risks, and deliverables to management and clients.
- Ensure documentation of project activities, lessons learned, and best practices.
Ad Hoc and Management-Assigned Tasks
- Handle additional responsibilities or initiatives as assigned by the Service Delivery Head or CEO.
- Support organizational initiatives that contribute to business efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.Experience:
- At least
5 years of proven experience
managing projects in IT, business solutions, or related fields. Demonstrated success in delivering projects of varying size and complexity.
Certification:
Project Management Professional (
PMP
), PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner, or equivalent
required
.Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
