Description
Project Manager within Outsourcing GB with a primary focus on the management and delivery across several existing pensions administration clients. The successful candidate will play an essential role in leading the Outsourcing GB deliverables for projects from the strategy pre-work phase through to delivery.

They will need to coordinate and provide guidance across a number of workstreams spanning multiple WTW lines of business, and at times third parties. Ensuring comprehensive plans are in place setting out the full end-to-end scope of the project. They will ideally have project management experience gained in a similar environment together with some pensions knowledge. The role will involve organising and participating in planning, requirements, and business-technical workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve project delivery deadlines within scope and budget. Ensure out-of-scope activity is identified and additional costs are managed with stakeholders.
  • Drive high-quality project governance, risk, and issue management.
  • Deliver quality updates on project delivery status to the Steering Committee.
  • Facilitates & inputs into Working Groups, calls, and technical workshops.
  • Coordinate internal resources, on and offshore, for the execution of the project delivery plans.
  • Build an understanding of stakeholders' needs, drivers, and constraints. Identify and efficiently resolve issues, and implement solutions to enable projects to be effectively delivered following requirements.
  • Creation and tracking of project plans.
  • Develop relationships with peer stakeholders within and across teams by initiating regular contact.
  • Management of project RAID. 's
  • Management of project budgets.
  • Management of project resource demand.
  • Seek feedback for continuous improvement related to own and team performance and use constructive feedback for career development.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Develop and enhance the Outsourcing GB project methodology.
  • Seek opportunities to build your knowledge of Project Management frameworks.
  • Input into Tools & Templates adopted by the Project Management Practice.
  • Able to manage a Client facing project

Qualifications
The Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager successfully delivering projects.
  • Prince2 experience / Agile qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven work experience in delivering multiple concurrent change projects to support business requirements.
  • Highly organized, motivated individual with excellent communication skills and strong team skills
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teamwork in and across teams and organizations.
  • Ability to identify potential issues and dependencies early.
  • Quickly facilitates mitigation plans, alternative approaches, and communication of risks.
  • Adeptness at learning new technology and tools.
  • Naturally able to share lessons learned and best practices with others
