Role and Responsibilities

The position is responsible for researching, developing, and launching new [personal care] products. Responds to company initiatives by driving new products to meet customer needs.

  • Coordinates product development, estimates potential profits, and release to production.
  • Manages day-to-day progress of product.
  • Provides financial and marketing justification for product selection and definition.
  • Prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market.
  • Produces competitive market analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
  • Ability to formulate, create/develop or replicate new products to be introduced to the market
  • Coordinate and manage formulation lab activities in support of the business needs
  • Successfully contribute to expanding and improving current formulations
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations (FDA) for formulation
  • Manage projects based on product briefs and development requests
  • Keep time schedule for submissions to suppliers, formula evaluation, pilot schedule, stability, safety testing, etc.
  • Communicate to managing partner any issue related to project feasibility
  • Meet and correspond with suppliers
  • Perform routine analytical and physical quality tests
  • Ensure that customers' expectations are met/exceeded
  • Performs any other duties or tasks that may be required by the company
  • Promotes and demonstrates behavior consistent with the company's core values and policies

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields

· At least four years of experience in Formulation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
