Assistant Buyer

DAYSHIFT | Fulltime | Pavia, Iloilo and Ayala, Makati | FULL ONSITE

About the Role

We have partnered with a premier wholesaler, specializing in exquisite artificial flowers, trees, home décor, furniture, and architectural lighting. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to support our procurement team in sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory and supplier relationships. As an Assistant Buyer, you will help ensure that the right products are available at the right time, supporting purchasing decisions through administrative and coordination tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in procurement or supply chain management and eager to grow in a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll be working on:

  • Supporting the senior buyer or procurement team in day-to-day purchasing activities
  • Creating purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of items
  • Tracking inventory levels and coordinating with internal teams on stock requirements
  • Assisting in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotes
  • Following up with vendors on order status and resolving issues with delivery or invoicing
  • Maintaining and updating procurement records and supplier database
  • Assisting in cost comparison and analysis for purchasing decisions

What were looking for

  • Graduate of Business, Supply Chain, or a related course
  • Internship or admin experience in purchasing or supply chain is a plus
  • Good attention to detail and organized
  • Can communicate well and work with others
  • Comfortable using Excel and basic systems
  • Willing to learn and grow with the team
  • A customer-focused, professional approach with excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
