JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: UI/UX Manager

Setup: Hybrid

Engagement: Project-Based

Location: BGC, Taguig City

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UI/UX design team in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-quality digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Oversee the entire design lifecycle — from gathering business requirements, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, to final design implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to translate complex requirements into intuitive, user-centered solutions.
  • Review and validate design outputs to ensure consistency with branding, accessibility, and usability standards.
  • Mentor and guide UI/UX designers, providing direction on design strategy, tools, and methods to ensure continuous growth and skill development.
  • Establish and enforce design best practices, guidelines, and processes to maintain high design quality and efficiency across projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design assets that align with project goals, timelines, and system specifications.
  • Coordinate with the development team to ensure proper handoff and implementation of designs, including reviews of front-end execution.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancement or interface improvement based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Promote user-centered design principles across the organization and advocate for end-user needs in all phases of development.
  • Oversee creation of mockups and prototypes using Figma and other design tools, ensuring visual coherence and technical feasibility.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in UI/UX, design systems, and interaction design to continually elevate user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record in leading UI/UX teams in delivering responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Expertise in design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma, as well as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of frontend development frameworks (ReactJS, Ionic 4+, TypeScript, HTML/CSS) for effective collaboration with developers.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience working directly with stakeholders and business units.
  • Knowledge of Design Systems, Accessibility Standards (WCAG), and User Research methods.
  • Familiarity with Source Code Control, Release Management, and Configuration Management is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php130,000.00 per month
