We are seeking a skilled Android Frontend Engineer to craft engaging, high-performance mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Backend teams to deliver features that meet both technical and user experience standards.

This role requires hands-on experience in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture), with a strong focus on quality, performance, and mobile security.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain Android applications for production release.

· Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and visually appealing Android interfaces following Material Design principles.

· Integrate and manage RESTful APIs, handle JSON data, and implement local storage using Room or SQLite.

· Ensure application security, encryption, and compliance with industry and banking regulations.

· Write, execute, and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso) to ensure robust and reliable code.

· Conduct code reviews and maintain clean architecture standards (MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture).

· Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.

· Participate in Agile and Waterfall ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

· Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.

· Stay updated on emerging Android technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer for Android Development.

· Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java, Android SDK, Git/GitHub, Gradle, and Android Studio.

· Strong knowledge of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture for scalable Android apps.

· Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON, and managing local storage (Room/SQLite).

· Skilled in Android UI/UX, Material Design, and creating visually appealing interfaces.

· Proven ability to write and maintain unit/UI tests using JUnit and Espresso.

· Experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.

· Published production-ready Android apps in app stores.

· Knowledge of mobile security best practices (secure storage, encryption, permissions).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English
