Part-Time Accounting VA Role with Xero & Arthur Experience

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part-Time (with potential to transition to Full-Time)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Part-Time Accounting VA to join our property management team. This remote role will manage financial operations for our UK rental properties, with additional support for a Swiss company.

If you have proven expertise in Xero and ideally Arthur property management software, excel at payroll, and can independently optimize financial processes, we encourage you to apply

Key Responsibilities:

 Manage daily accounting for UK rental properties using Xero and Arthur Online.

 Generate monthly rental and owner statements; track payments and arrears in Arthur.

 Prepare end-of-tenancy statements, including security deposit reconciliation.

 Handle accounts payable and receivable, including supplier/contractor payments.

 Accurately process monthly payroll for our cleaning team.

 Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, as needed.

 Identify and implement improvements to financial workflows.

 Collaborate with property management and operations teams.

 Assist with other ad-hoc accounting, administrative, and customer relations tasks for both UK and Swiss entities.

Qualifications:

 Essential: High proficiency in Xero (multi-currency).

 Accounting experience, preferably in property management, with international exposure.

 Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently.

 Proven ability to create and implement efficient financial processes.

 Strong Advantage: Hands-on experience with Arthur property management so􀅌ware.

 Solid understanding of accounting principles, adaptable to UK and basic Swiss concepts.

 Experience with payroll computation.

 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across multiple jurisdictions.

 Good communication skills in English.

 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or related field.

 CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.
