JOB DESCRIPTION – Project Manager (Maintenance Project)

Description:

As a Project Manager (Maintenance Project), you will lead and oversee maintenance-related projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company standards and client expectations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Reports To: Senior PM & CEO

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in maintenance or technical projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, MS Project, CRM systems).
  • Strong knowledge of project financial management and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

a. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules considering scope, resources, and client requirements. Define project milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.

b. Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources including personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure all maintenance projects are properly supported and efficiently executed.

c. Budget Oversight: Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and expenditures align with approved budgets.

d. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them, minimizing impact on project delivery timelines and costs.

e. Quality Assurance: Oversee all stages of project implementation to ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with client standards and company procedures.

f. Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring all expectations are met or exceeded.

g. Performance Reporting: Track project progress using internal tools (e.g., ClickUp), and prepare regular reports detailing progress, financials, and any issues affecting delivery.

Tasks

  • Lead and supervise all maintenance projects from initiation to closure.
  • Manage and guide project teams, ensuring accountability and performance excellence.
  • Review and approve project documentation such as RFIs, Change Orders, Schedules of Values, and Installation Schedules.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables in line with project timelines.
  • Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Utilize CRM and project management platforms to document and track project workflows
  • Handle all project communications and approvals directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
